Lynne Anklam

Team Member in 2024

Lynne is a 63-year-old recently retired Physical Therapist Assistant, and current USAT Level 1 Coach. Lynne has been married to her wife Julie for 9 years, and they have one daughter, Hannah, and two fur babies that keep them busy. Lynne began her triathlon journey in 2008 after learning to swim at the age of 45 years old, and she hasn't looked back. Prior to triathlons, Lynne was a high school track and cross country coach for 18 years. Lynne has completed 79 triathlons, including 8 Ironman 70.3 races. One of her proudest moments as an athlete came when she represented the Stars and Stripes for Team USA at  Aquathlon Worlds in Penticton, BC in 2017.

Lynne loves the triathlon lifestyle and is truly excited about joining LTT with the current and new team members.  Besides triathlon, she enjoys gravel biking, traveling, camping with her family, landscaping, and most outdoor activities.

 

2024 GOALS

My goals for this year are to stay healthy, enjoy training, and racing sprint, Olympic, and 70 distances while wearing green, my favorite color. Still a goal to  beat my best 70.3 6th place finish.
