Zack Weber

Team Member Since 2014

Zack is a 26-year-old graduate student. He will be starting a Ph.D. program at The Ohio State University in the fall of 2017, hoping to further his knowledge in epidemiology and build on his MS in biostatistics. Growing up in Grand Rapids, he competed in just about every sport imaginable & finally decided to try endurance running. Graduating high school with 2 marathon finishes under his belt, he went on to attend Grand Valley State University where he joined their running club. He continued his distance running with the hopes of someday breaking into triathlon. One fateful day he received a postcard about a local full Ironman triathlon and signed up. This would be his first experience in triathlon. Since then, he has morphed into a triathlete through & through and has completed 5 full Ironman distance races, along with numerous half-iron and Olympic distance races as well. Besides triathlon, Zack enjoys being with family and friends, taking in a good movie, and enjoying an ice cold beer.

2017 GOALS

I would like to have strong finishes in my long distance races this year. I would also like to see the athletes I coach continue to gain strength and have massive PRs in the new distances and races they are tackling this year.
